Tuareg carved wooden stick

Vintage wooden Tuareg stick. These beautiful carved sticks are used to transport tuareg tents on top of camels in the Sahara desert. Four sticks are used to construct a sedan chair which is placed on top of a camel.

Each stick is one of a kind and is uniquely carved with tribal motifs.
